| OXB

Orexin-A, also known as hypocretin-1, is a naturally occurring neuropeptide and orexin isoform. The orexinergic nucleus in the lateral hypothalamus is the primary orexin projection system in the brain.There are two types of orexin: orexin-A and orexin-B (hypocretin-1 and hypocretin-2).Orexin-B is a linear 28 amino acid residue peptide.Orexin-B binds mainly to OX2 and is 5 times less potent at OX1.
